The Beauty AIsle feat. Need Supply Co.

I'm always scouring the internet for new beauty products to try and places to buy them. You should see my bookmark list! Don't worry, I'll be sharing them in posts starting with one of my favorites, Need Supply Co.

Over the past year, Need Supply's brands list has grown immensely in the best way. I love so many of the products they carry and they have tons I still haven't tried yet. It's a treasure trove and I'm here for it.

These are just a few of the products I'm loving off of their site right now.

FACE

NUORI VITAL FOAMING CLEANSER.

NUORI VITAL FOAMING CLEANSER.

Love this foaming cleanser. It feels very light and my skin doesn't feel tight or irritated after using. I already finished a bottle and need to order another, asap!

HERBIVORE BLUE TANSY RESURFACING CLARITY MASK.

HERBIVORE BLUE TANSY RESURFACING CLARITY MASK.

I'm always down for a facemask. It's the best way to make my skin feel alive again. I enjoy doing a clarifying mask usually when I start to PMS. I don't break out a ton but I like to work on prevention rather than treatment of a breakout.

LIPS

KOSAS STARDUST LIPSTICK

I love a natural lip but when you can enhance it just a tad, even better. That  'just kissed' flushed pink/red looks universally flattering so I recommend a color like this to everyone. This one is especially lovely and super hydrating.

SANS  [CEUTICALS] LIP AID

Love the formulation of this product. Intensely hydrating without feeling sticky and messy. I usually slather some on before going to bed and it helps them not look or feel parched in the morning. My only negative, I love when lip products have a good applicator. I don't love touching my fingers to my lips on the go which is why this little one stays mostly bedside.

BODY

AGENT NATEUR Nº3 DEODERANT

AGENT NATEUR Nº3 DEODERANT

I've recently tried the switch to natural deodorant and have not been disappointed yet! I'm loving the texture and the scent and (to my knowledge) it lasts! For $21, I'm still a little skeptacle of repurchasing but for now, it's kind of luxe.

AESOP REDEMPTION BODY SCRUB

AESOP REDEMPTION BODY SCRUB

I never turn down a good body scrub. I love the feeling of a physical exfoliant for getting rid of dry skin or just helping resurface it after layers of sunscreen at the beach. I've also noticed a huge improvement in my ingrown hairs which yay! 'cause SUMMER. Buy it - you won't regret it.

SCENTS

MAISON LOUIS MARIE  ANTIDRIS CASSIS EAU DE TOILETTE

If you don't remember, I bought the candle version of this scent and am absolutely obsessed  so when I found the scent, I freaked! Haven't ordered it yet but it's next on my list. I smelled it in store at a little boutique here in Chicago and confirmed, it's amazing.

D.S. & DURGA ITALIAN CITRUS

Another scent that's on my 'need to buy' list. With notes of lemon and blood orange with undertones of  musk ambrette and oakmoss - this is a perfume I need to own! A bit higher in price but I'm imagining for a medium bodied scent, you'd only need one or two light sprays.

Inside Samir Shahid's Minimal Home.

'“At work, I have so much stuff around me,” Shahid explains. “And then you come here and it’s serene, calm.” This strict aesthetic applies throughout the apartment, from the streamlined kitchen to the shower taps in the master bath.'

I remember bookmarking this interview forever again but I always look back at it as an inspirationional interior. The sleek, minimal apartment is a breath of fresh air. Everything has a place and a purpose.

“I always use the words ‘simplicity’ and ‘direct,’ ” he says.

'To enter Shahid’s three-story prewar apartment in Greenwich Village is to understand those words, and to get the sense that success has bought him something else: silence. In a way, it is a reaction to the demanding whirl of fashion. He has created a nearly empty setting in which even his most soul-satisfying possessions — books, art — are banished from sight behind doors that blend seamlessly with the walls. It’s as though he has chosen to contain his passions in order to clear his head and, at the same time, draw out the openness of the space.'

WHITE PEACH MAPLE SODA

Sometimes we just need a little mid-week pick-me-up. Although picking up a chill glass of rosé is always tempting, sometimes I want something light and sparkling that doesn't have alcohol.

I tried this recipe a couple days ago and really loved the taste. It's like summer in a glass. I knew I had to share it.

Cheers!

Altuzarra Resort 2018

Favorite looks from Altuzarra's Resort Collection.

The styling is very interesting but I like the sort of western twist with the handkerchiefs. Those wide belts are super amazing too for an elegant, feminine hourglass shape. Really loving the final black dress with the pearl details paired with some simple black and white oxfords. The little fold-over detail on some of the dresses too is absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed this collection. Take a look!
