Interior | Bathroom Décor

Fell in love with this beautiful guest bathroom. What drew me was how clean and streamlined it looked while still feeling cozy. Love the ladder towel holder and the tiny vase holding a touch of yellow flowers. Guest bathrooms are usually small in space so making the most of every inch is key. The marble sink is absolutely beautiful and atop a white table for added function. A candle and soap are place on a cute little white tray. The basket with extra towels underneath the sink is perfect for both storage and aesthetic. The basket adds a warmth to the room and I'm loving the giant sponge placed on top. And can we talk about how incredible this mirror is? Really great design. I love everything about this space!

Spring Has Sprung.

Spring is finally in the air and my allergies are thrilled! Other than the stuffy nose and watery eyes - I'm genuinely super excited (Allergies are the worst!!) #!!! I just couldn't take another snow storm. It's rained a bit but I love the sound and smell of it and the aftermath is just as sweet. The air feels dewy while the sun peeps out from behind the clouds and gives you a warm hug . It's my little piece of heaven.

I had family in town all last week till today and went on a mini-vacation with them up to the mountains all weekend (posted some pics on my instagram). It was an absolute blast to have them here from El Salvador and to spend time with my nephews and niece. I'm such a happy auntie and I don't think I laugh so much as when I'm with those little nuggets. Did some shopping as well and found some killer boyfriend jeans and a denim jacket that's perfectly boy-ish - I've been super into baggy and boy style lately it's kind of a problem? I'll keep you posted on that. I'm excited to wear them this week. That being said - my posts were a bit sparse but I hope to get caught up this week.

I discovered this image below on Pinterest and was struggling to find the source (the worst!). One day I was on Madewell's Instagram and low and behold - I found it! Turns out this is jewelry designer Caroline Ventura of BRVTVS (Pronunciation: \ˈbrü-təs\). Ventura creates the most beautiful delicate pieces with both feminine and masculine touches. Her ear is perfect. That sounds strange - let me rephrase - more like, her ear decor is perfection. I recently got a third piercing on my ears so I'm slowly making my way to a decorated ear like hers. I absolutely love the all gold pieces with a touch of black diamond - stunning! I want to order some pieces from BRVTVS as well as from designers Sarah & Sebastian. They make some incredible earrings (and rings) - all very delicate and charming.

Design | Color Story • Pastels

Found a beautiful pastel color story over on Smitten Studio the other day. The lovely creator behind the blog, Sarah Samuel recently visited Miami and took some incredible photographs on South Beach. They turned into a wonderful pastel color story which is making me crave a trip to the beach.

I'm suddenly extremely anxious to get to a beach or just travel in general so hopefully I get a chance to do that this summer. Also, how much do you want to be lounging in one of this pink beach chairs right now? Excuse me while I daydream for a second....le sigh.

Quick side note: I try my best to respond to each and every comment I get on here (bare with me if it takes more than a couple days!), since I haven't been on Squarespace for very long, I'm still learning the ins and outs of this blogging platform. That being said - do you guys get a notification or something when I respond to your comments or do you just check back to see if I wrote back? I'm really curious so if you all could help me with this feedback that would be great! I want to be able to make my website as accessible as possible for yours and my sake.
