Recently stumbled upon this amazing short series by British Vogue that follows It-Girl and Model Alexa Chung as she explores different facets of the Fashion Industry. Speaking with the leaders in European Fashion Design, Marketing, Buying etc. allowing for many people's questions to be answered on what people in the fashion industry actually do.
I found this series incredibly inspiring. Learning from the greats like Christopher Kane and head designer of Chloe, Clare Waight Keller about the ins and outs of the fashion industry. Having gone to fashion school for a while at Parsons I did know a lot of what was shown in these videos and yet I still learned SO much - especially since European fashion differs from American fashion in a lot of ways. I encourage everyone to watch it (each video is only about 10 minutes long). Regardless if your life long dream is to work in the Fashion industry or you simply just want to get a better understanding of what F A S H I O N really is and how much hard work goes into every single little detail, this short series is for you.
Sidenote: How divine is Chung's dress by Chloe in the screenshot above?!
