Links I Love...

A little roundup of links/things I love so far this month: 

1. Love this article from The Cut, Frame Your Postcards. The idea of postcards as viable art to hang on your walls without spending a fortune. A really kitschy, fun, and inexpensive idea. Read HERE.

3. If you haven't figured it out yet, I LOVE interior design/decor. I'm always browsing through home decor and remodel blogs. One of my favorites is Grey & Scout. She posted a bit ago about a New York Townhouse that is to.die.for. I'm not kidding! Check it out, HERE. 

4. I've recently been very into K-BEAUTY (that's Korean beauty for those who don't know.) I find it all very overwhelming at times...what serums, what lotions, which goes first, ah! Thankfully, Nordstroms is having a K-beauty pop-up and I stopped by to get some advice from the beauty girls there. If you don't have one nearby or missed out on an item you wanted, don't worry! Took a little trip to Barney's and picked up my favorite scent 'La Tulip' by Byredo.

La Tulipe is probably my favorite scent from Byredo but there are so many lovely ones, it's hard to go wrong.

Going Grey.

Who knew I'd one day be skipping into a hair salon and asking my hairstylist for grey locks but, here we are. I've gone grey with blue tones and I couldn't be more excited! I wanted something subtle but different and I'm not a pastel type of gal so I knew lavenders and pinks were definitely a no-go plus, I didn't want to destroy my hair with bleach since I wanted to keep most the length. So i decided on an ombré grey. Unfortunately, my hair is so naturally dark that the bleach didn't lift as much this first time around so it's a dark subtle grey, for now. I'm thinking of heading back to my magician of a hairstylist and adding lighter grey and silver tones next month. But for now, this color is crazy fun and I'm thrilled I did it!

Beauty: Margot Robbie for Violet Grey.

The always stunning Australian actress Margot Robbie featured in an amazing beauty editorial for Violet Grey. Robbie can work a great tweed pantsuit and an incredible brown smokey eye - but let's face it, she would look amazing with mascara dripping down her face wearing a potato sack. le sigh. 

I first spotted Margot Robbie in the movie About Time with Rachel McAdams, before her big role alongside the great Leo Dicaprio - who, by the way, only has the kindest of words for his fellow costar.
