The rich tones and lush textures of Khaite’s first resort collection are rooted in the human drive for comfort and connection: instincts heightened as November turns to December. “It’s a feeling of familiarity—a seeking to touch and feel that comes from within,” says Catherine Holstein, founder and creative director of the New York-based ready-to-wear label. “With this collection arriving in the holiday season, the time of year when reflection is most relevant, warmth was the literal and figurative inspiration.”

          We said farewell to 2015 and it quickly became January 12th, 2016....uhm, where is the time going already!? Mon Dieu! Honestly, it's felt like it's taken me far too long to get settled here in Chicago but today I woke up and finally felt....normal. So here we are -hopefully- returning to regular blogging. Figured I'd ease everyone (myself) back into it with a good 'Links I Love' post since I haven't done one in (I'm embarrassed to say how long) forever.

1. I finally found an apartment (yay! It only took 5 months) but I LOVE IT. I've been looking up decorating ideas and pinning everything imaginable. I keep going back to this video showcasing Interior designer Rose Uniacke's stunning neo-Georgian home. A soft luxurious home with every bit of detail one dreams of...I can't stop watching. - In Residence: Rose Uniacke -

2. I'm a big fan of routines...especially when it comes to my mornings and coffee. Granted, I would never consider myself a coffee connoisseur but, I do enjoy my chemex or a good french press every morning. Local Milk created a lovely 'how-to' post on drip and french press coffee. Not only is the photography absolutely stunning but I think my coffee actually might have tasted better this morning. Now all I need is a copper kettle...

3. The only thing keeping me warm lately in this 2 degree Chicago weather is Resort and Spring 2016 collections. Love Erdem's Resort Lookbook and Céline was stunning, per usual. 

4. Again, decorating. But, not just decorating....The Art of Arranging Things. An amazing editorial I read yesterday on The Line that has me rethinking my entire life! Ohhh to be this organized.

5. Minimalissimo - One of my favorite online magazines is finally getting it's first print issue! Love the articles in Art, Design, and Fashion and I'm sure their first print will be just as amazing as their online editorials.

The Line - The Apartment - Los Angeles

My absolute favorite boutique/online store has gone bi-coastal. If you haven't heard yet, The Line has opened it's doors to an incredibly well dressed shoppable 'home' in sunny Los Angeles. The perfect amount of marble, linens, and art work - this boutique is absolutely stunning. Perfectly decorated for the West Coast vibes. Really like how the aesthetic differs from NYC's Apartment yet it's still very cohesive in design. 

I haven't spent much time in California but now I'm itching to go just to visit The Apartment and to The Row's flagship store (obviously). As always, you can shop The Line's products online any time and they are incredibly quick to ship and have impeccable customer service.  (trust me, my whole paycheck goes here....*nervous laughter*)

A couple months ago I wrote about the awesome online boutique The Line. They created this incredible space called 'The Apartment' to showcase their goods in an intimate setting. Beautifully decorated and filled with products you can purchase. The most ideal way to shop - basically, in the comfort of a home. Now that the apartment is open for business - we get to see more peaks inside...

THE LINE is my newest obsession - a website dedicated to finding the 'quintessential' for one's life. They curate a beautiful website filled with beauty products, home goods, and designer fashion. Their newest project is located in SoHo New York City which is a remodeled apartment - dating back to 1872 - where they will showcase their products so you can shop in the comfort of a home. How brilliant is that? The décor is phenominal and filled with all their perfumes and Rodin face oils - it's the perfect way to shop. The oh so lovely Bernadette from Decade Diary was lucky enough to get a sneakpeek of the apartment and took some amazing photos - check 'em out!

Stunning, non? So much character is in the architecture and I love that they kept the design very simple yet there is a touch of luxe in the fur throws and black walls that I love.
