Style | Cameron Diaz in The Other Woman

Last Sunday night I headed to the movies with a couple girlfriends to watch the oh so talked about chick flick The Other Woman. Great cast and pretty hilarious story line, this is a definite must see with your best girls. I was really mesmerized by the scenery and the wardrobes, specifically Cameron Diaz's character, Carly. The not so typically dressed lawyer lives an incredibly put-together chic lifestyle yet her wardrobe was on the easier side with the most beautiful soft color palette with pops of red dresses and black blazers.

I was seriously obsessed.

From her incredible sky high apartment in all white décor to her nude slip dress, strappy heels, and simple gold necklaces, her look is everything I want. Styled by none other than the genius mind behind Sex and the City, Patricia Fields creates such an amazing wardrobe for a powerful and successful woman. She is styled so well, I love the touch of bright red nails with easy soft hair. Carly is a fictional depiction of my future self, at least, what I hope to be wearing with a side of non-cheating boyfriend...

These are some of my favorite looks that Carly wore:

As you can see, she wore a lot of dresses which I think is fabulous. I love the simplicity and elegance of the first nude dress but how great is that simple yellow tank dress!? I can't get enough. I would definitely go watch this movie again and just take notes on her fantastic wardrobe.

Earspo • Minimal

I discovered this image below on Pinterest and was struggling to find the source (the worst!). One day I was on Madewell's Instagram and low and behold - I found it! Turns out this is jewelry designer Caroline Ventura of BRVTVS (Pronunciation: \ˈbrü-təs\). Ventura creates the most beautiful delicate pieces with both feminine and masculine touches. Her ear is perfect. That sounds strange - let me rephrase - more like, her ear decor is perfection. I recently got a third piercing on my ears so I'm slowly making my way to a decorated ear like hers. I absolutely love the all gold pieces with a touch of black diamond - stunning! I want to order some pieces from BRVTVS as well as from designers Sarah & Sebastian. They make some incredible earrings (and rings) - all very delicate and charming.

ONE: Love these tiny dot earrings by Kathleen Whitaker. They are the epitome of simplicity. (Buy here.)

TWO: These simple lines are great to wear vertically or horizontally. Edgy and chic. (Buy here.)

THREE: These cluster earrings by Sarah & Sebastian are my favorite. I can't wait to order mine. (Buy here.)

For Love & Lemons Lookbook Spring 2014

For Love & Lemons is one of my new favorite contemporary brands. Their pieces are so fun and feminine with great silhouettes. Flattering dresses with lace details - I can't get enough. I read up on the lovely duo behind the brand and found out one of the creators, Laura Hill went to my Alma Mater (Go Buffs!). Yet another reason for me to love it! Then, they had to go and photograph their lookbook in Guatemala (my home country). Antigua to be specific, which is my favorite place in the whole entire world! Needless to say I felt very nostalgic and homesick after viewing it but in the best way possible. Amazing clothes and incredible location - you can't not love it.

I think I've been looking at this Lookbook for hours now and I want every piece! The styling is brilliant too with all those great silver jewelry pieces and beautiful braids.

I don't think I can choose a favorite look but I'm dying over the White Chica Jumpsuit. I think I will have to add it to my closet.

Have any of you heard of For Love & Lemons before or bought any pieces?
