Oh, I’m so excited about this event. So many great designers and pieces are included. I wanted to start by sharing the little details though. Here’s how the event will work and the discount tiers.

20% off orders of $500+
25% off orders of $800+

Use code STYLE (at check-out, plug in this code!)

Look for items labeled Style Event (very important - these are the pieces that will qualify for the sale)

This event won’t last long, it’s only until October 14, 2021, at 11:59pm PT, so it’s a good idea to get those items in your cart soon!

Woo! Now that you know the details, let’s start on the pieces I curated and hope to purchase for my closet. Of course, I always advise to get items that are great to incorporate into your existing wardrobe. Always great to add a good pair of jeans, these are some of my favorites from RE/DONE, the stove pipe jeans. I have them and wear them all the time. They also make great basics, love their tees and this white one with the ribbed details and small cap sleeve is so cute.

I like purchasing at least one nice sweated that can be worn in many ways so I opt for a very minimal design. This one is perfect. Love the drop sleeve and the color is so ideal. You can wear with a silk skirt to dinner, with jeans to go shopping, leather leggings and heels for drinks. It’s so versatile.

Clearly I’m having a thing for light leathers as per these gorgeous bootie heels and this bag. They are a dream! I’ve always loved a light color for Fall as I feel like it’s a nice break from the heavy dark colors. They are also very beautifully designed, love the shape of each of them - unique and again, versatile. Which is always key!

And of course, I was super excited to see that accessories were available for this event. I have a pair of blue light glasses that have been life changing. Being a social media manager means countless hours in front of a screen and I used to deal with a lot of migraines and headaches that I know came a lot from my screen time. Since I purchased a pair, I have noticed such a difference! My eyes feel less tired at night, I’ve noticed I fall asleep faster since I’m not overtired from the screen and headaches have gone down significantly. Definitely purchase a pair, you won’t regret it. Lastly, some of my favorite candles are included in this sale! OBSESSED with Maison Louis Marie. Their candles burn beautifully and smell divine. The cassis candle is definitely one of my top ten candles another purchase you won’t regret.

Let me know if you’ll be shopping the sale! Excited to see what you all will be getting. Let me know in the comments what you’re eyeing and buying :)

STYLE: Transitional Pieces for Fall

We’re in that beautiful time of year where it’s not quite cold enough to wear a heavy jacket but wearing tees alone are a little too chilly. Finding the right transitional pieces is key because they can be worn throughout the seasons. Alone when it’s not super cold or layered once the temperature drops.

I’ve rounded up some great pieces to add to your forever wardrobe. Neutrals are always your best options for these pieces so they can be mixed into your wardrobe easily as well as last much longer than a trendy color. These are the pieces that are well worth investing in. They will last you for years and you’ll want to wear them constantly. That’s why finding a good quality piece is so worth the investment.

CO light beige cardigan (find more cardigan options here) / KHAITE oversized denim jacket (find more denim jacket options here) / TOTEME black two button blazer (find more blazers here)

A neutral cardigan is a must! I can’t stress this enough. It goes with so much. Pair with a silky dress, oversized jeans and a tank, over a black tight turtleneck and high waisted wool pants. The possiblities are truly endless so it’s a great piece to add to your closet if you don’t already have. I love a nice chunky fabric as it can give so much character to a look. Also looks super chic tied around your shoulders.

I like a denim jacket because it’s just easy. I even wear it in the summer when I just want a little something extra if we go out to somewhere that has air-conditioning. Draped over your shoulders is cute too. I love anything draped over my shoulder to be honest! Something super effortless about styling pieces this way.

Of course you need a black blazer. I can assume you most likely already have one but upgrading to a timeless piece like this one is very worth considering. Wear to work, to dinner, out shopping. I like dressing it up and down which is ideally what a good blazer is able to do. Just making sure it has good structure in the shoulders without too much padding that it looks like it’s drowning you. I prefer a tad oversized for a ‘borrowed from the boyfriend’s closet’ look.

TOTEME straight leg wool pants ( shop more trouser pants here) / JOSEPH cropped wool wide-leg pants (shop more wide-leg pants here) / GOLDSIGN the peg jeans ( shop more goldsign jeans here)

Black straight leg pants seem to never go out of style. I’ve seen changes in the rise from high to low but I think high and mid-rise are the best classic styles. I love wearing them with a simple white tee or a silk cami for a night out. Sneakers or high heels - both look great.

Casual but elevated. These wool wide-leg pants are a great replacement for all the sweatpants we’ve been wearing. Still comfortable but more put together. I love a good pant like this for traveling or just a quick coffee run. Makes me feel like I don’t look like I just rolled out of bed. Pairs well with a white oversized button down or again, my favorite - a white tee.

Oh denim. My first clothing love. I could wear denim for almost every scenario and that’s why I love them. This pair is a tad more tailored and in a great medium wash. I like a medium to dark wash when I want to look more formal. I think it’s more elevated than a light wash. Of course, black denim is always the best way to go for a must have staple but I think medium wash is a close second.

CONVERSE high top sneakers (shop more converse here) / JW ANDERSON black chain loafers (shop more mules here) / CHANEL black ballerinas (shop more flats here)

I love love love converse high tops. I have them in black and in white and I find them to be such a good staple. They are super comfortable, I wear them with pants, jeans and dresses. I love how you’ll see young fresh faced Parisian women wearing them as well as 7 year old boys and girls. They are a pretty perfect sneaker.

Loafers are very much a classic shoe. There are so many variations now and every season brands come out with a new take on them. I was not a fan when these first came out but they quickly grew on me. I have these Gucci ones that I’ve been wearing for years but if I could do a fun upgrade, I would definitely get these.

Chanel Ballet flats. You just can’t go wrong. I love how easy and feminine a ballet flat is. Another shoe you can wear with everything. I wore them with cashmere sweatpants the other day and they looked very chic. So many options for ballet flats but Chanel is the ultimate classic.

What would you say your favorite transitional piece is? Would love to know!

THE EDIT: September Wishlist 2021

Sharing my September wishlist as this one is a tad more special since it’s my birthday month. Hoping to pickup a few items from my wishlists for myself and dropping some obvious hints to family/my husband. :)

SeptemberWishlist_2021_Shopbop.jpg

We’re already half way through September and I feel like it’s just flown by. Summer is coming to an end and fall is right around the corner, or for Hawaii…cooler summer…? This will be my last birthday spent here in Hawaii and it’s very bitter-sweet. I’m excited to hear where we go to next but Hawaii has really become home. I will miss it dearly.

If I was in more ‘fall’ type weather, this Brogger dress is exactly what I would want to wear. I’m loving the girly dresses and masculine boot look. Super edgy and chic. These Ganni ones have been calling my name and I wish I could get them but they are sold out in my size. Also, I feel a little silly buying boots on an island - haha, but I know next fall my wardrobe will be very different than it is now. I’m getting inspired at what I will be adding to it.

In need of a new room spray and this Loewe Honeysuckle scent sounds divine. Has anyone tried Loewe’s candles or home scents yet? Dying to know their staying power and if they are worth the tag. Let me know in the comments!

A friend of mine (hi Laura! her website if you’d like to take a peek: 91 LANE) introduced me to JADE swim. I don’t even have one of their suits yet and I’m already in love. The clean, minimal lines in the most beautiful colors. I have about 7 saved in my shopping cart and this gorgeous blue piece is at the top of the list. Currently on sale and I believe it’s the last size so grab it if you can! Enjoying my year round swimsuit days while I still can.

Also on the list, more jewelry. Are you surprised!? These are a little more day-to-day pieces. The small hoops by Mejuri which would be perfect for running around in. Although I’m still nervous to wear dangling things around my daughter - I feel like these are just the right size that she hopefully won’t pull on them. Make sure to use the link above to get 10% off your Mejuri purchase!

Can’t go wrong with new sunglasses, these are Bottega. It’s like lipstick - just fully transforms an outfit. These are classic yet have the perfect gold detail to them. I need.

Last but not least, this beautiful book. I dream of getting my Interior Design degree and have heavily thought about going back to school for it, so I’m getting inspired by books and other designers. Also, I always need inspiration for our next place. We have no clue if we will be in a house, in an apartment - nothing yet! So I just gather ideas to keep myself sane and looking at beautiful design books really helps.

Anything on your wishlist pre-fall? Would love to know.

Enjoy your last bits of summer everyone and thanks for checking in as I get back to blogging more consistently! I’ve missed it and I think there is a big push to getting back to slow living, hopefully reading and writing blog posts will help me with that. If you have a blog, I’d love to read. Drop it in the comments! Always looking for great blog reads.
