STYLE: Elevated Basics
1. AURATE Large Diamond Stud Earrings
Nothing beats the elegance of a beautiful diamond stud. It’s such a classic staple piece to own. They can easily be dressed up or down which I think is key to a good basic. These AUrate Studs are such a beautiful, elevated set. You’ll never want to take them off! Definitely on my wishlist.
2. BOTTEGA VENETA Square-frame Sunglasses
Obsessed is an understatement. These are such a classic shape but with special details. The glossy black and gold hardware make these sunglasses a perfect addition to your wardrobe.
3. NILI LOTAN York Oversized Shirt
If you didn’t already know, I live in oversized button down shirts. I wear them with denim, with leggings, with shorts, over swimsuits, EVERYTHING. Truly my favorite piece of my wardrobe. I wear them so often, I decided to invest in nicer ones. Love this one from Nili Lotan. The shape is super flattering and I love the how it lays on my body. I also really love my Jenni Kayne Classic Shirt for a slightly more fitted look.
4. SAIE Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer
I have been very minimal with my make-up lately. I usually just use a brow product and blush but recently I started using Saie’s Tinted Moisturizer. It’s such a beautiful product, sits so nicely on my skin and it has SPF so it’s great when I’m just at home. Make-up layers so well on top of it also if I need a little extra concealer.
These are literally the only shoes I wear anymore. They go with everything and being in Hawaii, they are appropriate for every occasion. I love these in particular because they are super comfortable and a nude shoe always makes my legs look longer, ideal! Message me if you want a little discount code to purchase your pair!
6. AGOLDE Criss Cross Upsized Shorts
These shorts are next on my purchase list. I love the criss cross details, a great way to elevate a basic denim short! I love Agolde denim, it’s super flattering and I love that they are still making a good high rise denim short. These can be worn with your oversized shirt or just a tee and slides.
Remember, it’s best to start your wardrobe with a few good basics and go from there! If you already have these basics, you might consider elevating them to change things up while also knowing they won’t easily go out of style or trend.
Hope everyone has a good rest of their week!

LINKS I Love: 4.11.21
A quick little round-up of links I’ve loved recently…
1. I was recently gifted a new product by the clean beauty brand, Saie - it’s called Dew Blush and I’m obsessed! If you didn’t know, blush is probably my favorite makeup product. I love the ‘flushed’ look because I think it makes me look awake and youthful! Like my baby’s rosy cheeks when she wakes up in the morning. Although it comes naturally to Sofía, I have to find products that mimic it and Dew Blush has quickly risen to the top of my beauty bag. I got the color Rosy and it’s just this perfectly ‘flushed’ color that I love putting on every morning. I know a lot of us are still not leaving the house like we did pre-pandemic but it’s nice to wake up and get ready to make our day and ourselves feel better. Highly recommend Dew Blush and I think i’ll be adding a couple more colors to my beauty bag soon. You can purchase Dew Blush at Sephora, here!
2. My mom decided to subscribe to Discovery+ for the new Magnolia Network and she was so excited about all the great shows they are offering I decided to also signup. It has not disappointed! I quickly dove into the shows and just finished watching The Lost Kitchen. The journey of chef Erin French whose restaurant in Freedom Maine was so drastically affected by Covid last year. Her story is one of thousands and it made me really take a step back and realize how important it was to support our local restaurants. So many have closed because of the pandemic in Hawaii alone, let alone the rest of the world. Ben and I have actively been ordering take out from local places when we felt it was safe and dine out when it’s appropriate to help keep these businesses afloat. I highly recommend watching. The whole season is on the network already so if you’re not sure about another streaming service, you could binge watch through the 7 day trial - haha but don’t tell them I told you that!
3. Ok this one is a little wild so bare with me. Skincare is very very important to me so of course I’ve tried my best to find the best products for Sofia as well. I’ve read countless descriptions on products and after some trial (and error, sorry Sofia for the bum rash from a weird lotion!) I found the brand Tubby Todd. Now I could do on and on raving about how great it is for her skin but I wanted to point out one product in particular. The All Over Ointment. This help clear up Sofias baby acne as well as her cradle cap but after countless sleepless nights and falling asleep without washing my face several times, I found myself with an eczema flair up. I reached for a bunch of calming products in my cabinet and nothing was working. Just kept spreading and feeling more irritated. I was slathering Sofia with it and just decided to try it, I mean the ingredients are great and I thought if it helped my daughter, it could help me? Within 24 hours my flair up was already calming and in 48 hours it was gone. I was SHOCKED. So needless to say, this is a winner in my book for both baby and momma. You can purchase it, HERE.
4. The weather is getting warmer and Summer is so close which means it’s time to make great cocktails for those hot afternoons. Love a good cocktail that is light and bright using fresh ingredients. I have this beautiful cocktail saved, the Spring Garden Margarita. Not only does it look beautiful but it sounds delicious! Can’t wait to make it. Recipe HERE.
5. Living in Hawaii has given me such an appreciation of nature. It’s wild that I’m just now realizing it since I grew up in Colorado where we’re surrounded by gorgeous mountains but it’s one of those things you don’t really appreciate until you leave! With Covid, the sunshine and ocean have been so healing and wonderful to me and our new place has a beautiful view of the ocean from our front porch! It’s just a smidge but to open my door and see that vast blue in the distance makes my day. I’ve been adding bits and pieces to this new patio we have so i’ve gone down a rabbit hole of inspirational images. One that immediately popped into my mind is the Cecconi’s at Soho Beach House in Miami! I posted pictures on my instagram from when I was there last and I’m just obsessed with the feel. It’s warm and inviting while still being light and airy. The colors are gorgeous with a colorful play in patterns which for me is rare to love as I normally am not huge on patterns and prints but they are definitely growing on me. Check out the images over on my instagram HERE!
Hope everyone is doing ok, staying safe, wearing a mask, and enjoying their Spring!

PERSONAL NOTE: 3.25.2021
Wow, it’s been a minute! Or 4+ months that I’ve update my blog. It took the back burner when Covid hit, I just couldn’t find any inspiration to be frank! There was too much happening for me to feel like this space was important but I’ve realized how much I’ve missed blogging. Social media has become such a heavy place for me and with this new chapter of becoming a mother, I wanted to come back to my roots. I’ve been blogging for 10+ years now! It’s always been something I’ve done to get inspired and inspire others. So I’m going to actively try to update again. I’m sure I’ve said this before and ended up not being so active but when I first started blogging, it was my safe space to write and share and not feel any pressure. I’m drawn to that again and I thank you if you’ve stuck around for all these years or are new to reading my blog. I appreciate each and every single one of you!
I wanted to be open on here too with you all that I’m not sure what the direction I will take of this space. I know I’ll still be sharing my typical lifestyle, fashion, beauty but I’ve also been so inspired by interiors and cooking that I think I’d like to venture into sharing my interior projects and all the recipes I’m trying. I’m not quite sure how much of Motherhood I want to touch on. I’ve been very protective of that new role and I’m sure i’ll share tidbits here and there because it’s truly my number one role now but I’m also aware of the importance of keeping my daughter’s life mostly private. So I wouldn’t write myself in as a ‘mommy blogger’ and that’s ok! It’s just not our journey but as always, things evolve and change so we’ll see how things develop.
I wanted to also open up for feedback! Is there anything you’d like to see from me on my blog or my Instagram? More of something specific that you like? Would love to know so please leave a comment or message me!
Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You don’t have to be here or read this but your choose to and I’m forever grateful for that. As always, my ‘door’ is open to chat - feel free to message and talk to me, I love chatting with you all! Love you guys to bits.
xx Mindy
