THE EDIT: Shopbop Beauty
I’m so excited that Shopbop has launched beauty! What’s the most ideal about it? They ship so fast. I usually can get my Shopbop orders within 3-5 days where Sephora and Ulta can sometimes take longer. Also, I can shop sweaters and restock my favorite sunscreen at the same time. Just kind of ideal! Put together a little round up of products I use or am excited are now available at Shopbop. Have you shopped beauty at Shopbop yet? Let me know!
STYLE: Transitional Neutral Looks
If you’ve been around long enough, you know I’m very much a neutrals type of girl. Give me whites, creams, blacks - I live for them! I just love the elegance of neutrals and how it’s so easy to pick out outfits when you’re working with minimal color. Playing on textures, structure, and volume is where all the fun comes in. Love a fluid pants with a tight high neck tee, or an oversized cream sweater with black stirrup leggings and ballet flats. Simple yet chic! So I pulled up some neutral-style pictures that are looks I would love to recreate.
ESSENTIALS are key here. You probably have these pieces in your closet already but if you don’t I’m linking some that I love or have.
WHITE BUTTON-DOWN SHIRT. I love this white button-down shirt from Jenni Kayne. The weight of it is super nice and I like how structured it is without being stiff. (Shop more Button-down Shirts here)
WHITE TANK TOP. Also great to have in grey and black. You’d think this would be an easy buy but sometimes I find it difficult to find one that fits correctly. A lot of tanks are super low on the sides and momma needs to wear a bra now all the time post-baby (haha). I love the high neck of Toteme tanks like this one. This Free People tank top is also super cute and a great staple. I love the ribbed detailing and scoop neck that isn’t too low. (Shop more tank tops here)
TAN/CREAM PANTS. Another great staple. I know a lot of women find light pants intimidating but I think paying close attention to fabric and fit is key here. I love linen pants but I know they can veer toward the see-through side so finding a pair that’s a cotton blend or viscose is the route you want to go. I like cotton for the structure and viscose is great if you want something more fluid. These Vince high-waisted pleated trousers and perfect. I have them in my shopping bag now and hoping to purchase them as soon as I can. I always love Vince for pants. They are so good at crafting well-fitted pants in great colors. They are definitely a go-to for me! (Shop more Vince Pants here)
CREAM SWEATER. Like I said, playing on design and structure can make an ordinary cream sweater much more exciting. I’ve been living in this Brochu Walker Off the Shoulder Sweater. It has a beautiful neckline and is so soft. I love their sweaters and how they make all their styles in neutral colors and some fun colors too for my colorful ladies! (Shop more Brochu Walker here or on their Website and get 15% off with my discount code mindykoenigsfeld15).
THE CLASSIC TRENCH COAT. Obviously very obsessed with this Balenciaga trench coat Hailey Beiber is wearing but sadly for me, I don’t have 3k to spend on one coat. However, investing in a good trench coat is definitely a must. I’ve heard stories of friends finding vintage Burberry coats in thrift stores but if you’re not one of those lucky few, lots of brands are creating this classic style. I can always count on Toteme to make a great coat. A little more budget-friendly? This one from Anine Bing is beautiful and COS is always a great option as well. (Shop more Trench Coats here)
A couple other neutral must haves, a good white tshirt, brown leather belt, white sneakers, and black ballet flats.
What’s your favorite neutral piece?

THE EDIT: Spring Forward
AGUA BY AGUA BENDITA Opalo Manglares Mini Dress (shop more Agua by Agua Bendita here) / JANESSA LEONE Felix Bucket Hat (shop more Janessa Leone here) / THE ROW half moon leather bag (shop more The Row here) / GIVENCHY cat eye sunglasses (shop more cat eye sunglasses here) / BOY SMELLS lanai candle (shop more boy smells candles here) / EMME PARSONS leather slides (shop more slides here)
Spring is just around the corner! We’re spending out last Spring in Hawaii and I am soaking it all up. Refreshing my wardrobe with some staples. Just ordered these beautiful Givenchy cat-eye sunglasses. They feel very modern Holly Golightly and I don’t have any all-black sunglasses so I figured it was time. I’m obsessed with The Row’s half-moon bag, it’s definitely on my wishlist. Same with these Emme Parsons leather sandals, I’ve had them on my wishlist for a while and almost snagged them on sale but they sold out in my cart. I was so bummed! But c’est la vie - I’m sure I’ll come around to trying to order them again. The leather is a dream and I love this camel-colored leather.
I discovered this brand Agua Bendita and I’m obsessed. I’m not normally a prints type girl but these are so subtle and the color palettes are stunning. I’m hoping to get my hands on one of their pieces soon.
I’m still daydreaming about our trip to Lanai. It honestly was such a dream so I’ve been lighting this Boy Smells candle to remind me of that beautiful tropical escape we had last month. Boy Smells candles are some of my favorite candles. They burn so beautifully and their scent last even after blowing out the candle. Highly recommend.
Any fun goodies on your Spring wishlist?

LINKS I LOVE: 2.21.22
Hi! If you’re new here - welcome to my little corner of the internet. Very happy to have you here! My name is Mindy and I am a full-time mom and full-time freelancer. I specialize in Social Media Management as well as content creation. I run this blog as a way to curate everything I find - a place I can store it while also sharing it with you. I am also a military wife which means lots of moving and lots of change constantly and this blog has been my sanity outside of family and close friends. It gives me a place to keep consistent and know it’s not going anywhere even if I’m moving across the country, which, will be happening very soon. We’re waiting on our next orders and I have a feeling our next destination won’t be as - tropical, haha but that’s ok! Nothing will compare to Hawaii and I’m so grateful for the time I have spent here.
Bringing back my favorite ‘Links I love’ post because I haven’t done one in a while and it’s a fun post for me to write. Basically my notes app in a blog post!
A quick little round-up of links (and things) I’ve loved recently…
1. As I said, our move is coming up and we’ve waited to purchase lots of home items because it’s hard to ship things here. Once we get our orders, our home things will be packed up and shipped back across the ocean which stresses me out! So I didn’t want to buy anything that could potentially break during the big move. But we will most likely be stateside so my list of home things is growing rapidly. I stumbled across this lamp on Pinterest which I immediately loved (wouldn’t it have looked beautiful in an office?). After a few clicks, I was down a rabbit hole on this Vintage website, VNTG.com, sorry in advance for the amount of time you’ll be spending on here. I’m just knee-deep in scrolling through all these gorgeous vintage pieces. Chairs, lamps, tables, so many insanely good pieces and I’m learning so much in terms of design and designers. Take a look if you dare, but I promise - it will be worth it.
2. I purchased the iconic Mansur Gavriel bucket bag (shop Mansur Gavriel Bucket bags here) years ago. I have the mini bucket bag but I need the big bucket bag! It’s incredibly well-loved now but has kept its shape nicely throughout the years. I’m not sure what it is about bucket bags but they feel like Mary Poppin’s carpetbag. I can put everything in it and still feel like I have room for more. The Mansur bucket is incredibly light too so no added weight which is ideal. I’ve been thinking of purchasing another bucket-style bag now that I don’t have to carry loads of diapers and bottles with me. This Paco Robanne bag is on my list as a casual everyday bag to switch out my Mansur. (shop more bucket bags here)
3. I would move to Los Angeles in a heartbeat to be able to get Flamingo Estate Farm boxes. I discovered Flamingo Estate on Instagram (worth the follow) and can’t get enough of their aesthetic and recipes. They don’t deliver to me unfortunately so I haven’t tried any of their products but I’m dying to place a big order once I can! I have, however, made some of their recipes including this delicious Cara Cara Gin and Tonic this weekend. I meant to take pictures of the process but was so enthralled with it all that I forget. Definitely will be making it again and documenting it. Cara Cara oranges are in season so now is the perfect time to make this delicious cocktail. Find more of their recipes here. Let me know if you make it!
4. I was sent Saie’s latest product launch. A loose setting powder - Airset and the fluffy brush. I am so in love with the formula, it takes away unwanting shine while leaving a delicate glow. My skin felt soft and smooth and it has a very satin finish. It’s 100% a staple in my routine now. I mostly use it on my forehead and under my eyes where I get shiny and I feel like it holds very well. I promise I was not paid to say this! It’s just that good I had to share. I’ll make a review or video about it on my Instagram next month so stay tuned. I will say, however, that I was sent (per my request) the light to medium shade and I should have gone with the fair to light tone. The medium shade doesn’t look bad but it definitely is a smidge too dark. You can shop Airset here at Sephora or through Saie’s website and don’t forget to bundle with the fluffy brush, it’s ideal for application.
5. Like I mentioned above, I’m deep into home decor and design as we wait for our next move. My dream is to be able to purchase a house and fix it up a little. I don’t think a gut renovation is ideal right now as the price of materials is insane. Something small like a bedroom makeover or maybe a guest bathroom renovation. Nothing too serious as we most likely will only be there for a couple of years but I want to change just enough to make it feel like home. I saw this beautiful 18th-Century New York Farmhouse on Architectural Digest and found a lot of elements I loved. The use of colors and cozy but beautifully designed furniture, I love! Imagine getting ready in that window-filled bathroom - wow. I’ve bookmarked and will be taking a lot of inspiration from this space. (Linked here)
Hope everyone had a nice long weekend! Xx
