I know August is almost over but there is still time to find some goodies online before seasons transition over. Lucky for me (kind of), I have ‘Summer’ all year long so this is the best time for me to shop. I’ve been shopping at Shopbop quite a bit since they ship to me super quickly and I love that you can make wishlists super easily. I’ve been doing my best to shop consciously and buy pieces I’ll be able to wear even once we leave Hawaii so I’ve stayed away from seasonal prints and opted for more traditional ones like stripes and, as seen above, polka-dots. This Ganni one has been on my mind for a minute - it came in white and black and all black with white polka dots. An internet friend of mine purchased in black and white and I was just so in love with how cute it looked on.
Another thing on my wishlist are martini glasses. Outside of rosé and an Aperol Spritz, extra dirty gin martinis have been my go-to at home. I’m sure most people find this horrible but I could almost do olive juice with a splash of gin and vermouth haha that’s how extra dirty I love it. Our night basically ends once Sofia goes to sleep at 7 pm so we’ve made it our mission to have date nights at home. I light a ton of candles, we cozy up on our lanai (patio) or the couch and watch something new on tv. I like to mix a martini so I feel like elevating my glassware is the perfect next step. I would love to find some vintage ones but next best thing? Crystal of course! Oh and if anyone wants to babysit so we can leave the house, hit me up.
Youth to the People’s Cleanser has been on my wishlist for a while. I’ve heard it’s wonderful and lathers well. I’m always in search of a good cleanser so I think I might need to bite the bullet and get this one next.
Obviously I could always use a good candle and the Maison Louis Candles never disappoint. They burn beautifully and last me quite a while which is great. Also the scents are heavenly.
I have a few jewelry pieces on here (hint hint to my husband!). My dad gave my mom some Suzanne Kalan earrings last time they were here in Hawaii and I’ve just been dreaming of her pieces ever since. Sadly I know I won’t be stealing hers anytime soon so here’s to wishing I can get my own pair.
