STYLE: Vacation Edit

It’s been a minute! I took a wonderful vacation this past weekend with Ben to Lanai. His parents are visiting so we were able to do an early solo Valentine’s trip. It was just what we needed. We stayed at the Sensei which was incredible - so calm and relaxing. We took a little day trip down to the Four Seasons Lanai that was right next to the beach. I packed my most resort looks to make the most out of this trip. It’s funny because I live just one island over but I don’t find myself wearing flowy cute dresses everyday. So this was the perfect time!

I love a dress I can throw over a swimsuit or wear to a nice dinner. Bought this cute little Staud dress with the perfect puff sleeves and I can’t stop wearing this Brochu Walker Havana dress. It’s the perfect material and I get compliments on it every time I wear! I have a discount code for everything off of their site so DM me to ask or head to my links section.

A good pair of sunglasses is always key. I think the bigger the better if you don’t wear a hat all day. Love to throw in a little sparkly earring and these from LUVAJ are so cute and go with everything. Denim shorts are a must - I wear over my swimsuit and a linen shirt usually! Great for a lunch by the pool. I’ve used my Loewe bag more than I thought I would which is amazing. It’s the perfect size for your sunscreen and a good book. I love a summery scent year round now - just makes me super happy and Pulp by Byredo is one of my go-to scents.

Lastly, one of my best investments - the Oran sandals by Hermes. They are a dream sandal! I feel so chic wearing them with denim shorts but they wear perfectly with all your summer dresses and skirts. I wear them constantly and I feel like they are holding up super well. I’ve had them for over 2 years now and don’t even feel like they have bent much. Make sure to invest in a good way to store them! I like to use tissue paper, then I use their dust bag and place them in a shoe box. I know they are definitely on the higher price range wise but I have no retreats and think they will last many more years.

Spent so much time on this one and found some great, special gifts! Some major highlights, this beautiful serving set from Isabel Lam. This is a great one to save for future reference for a wedding gift as well. Another stand out is the Café de Flore cup and saucer. Such a cute gift for your friend who loves Paris. It’s such a staple! Only problem is it might not ship in time, so if you order, print out a picture and put it in a little gift box and say ‘it’s coming soon!’ haha.

Always a favorite, jewelry. This Aurate signet gold pinky ring is so chic. Love that you can get it engraved so make it extra personal. The earring from KatKim too is a DREAM. Cool and edgy with just the right amount of sparkle.

Never can go wrong with beauty gifts. Elevate her hand washing situation with this beautiful Byredo hand wash. It’s my favorite and I savor it tremendously.

July Wishlist

Can’t believe how quickly July came! Spring flew buy and now we are officially into Summer. Here is a quick little round-up of beautiful things I’m currently wishing for. Take a look!

1. Rattan Pitcher by Jenni Kayne.

   Love this Rattan pitcher for serving up Iced Tea and Lemonade on a hot day or as a chic vase for some white flowers! It’s simply and chic like most of Jenni Kayne’s designs which is why I absolutely love her. Definitely purchasing this pitcher!

2. Gold Rings by AUrate

   I’m a huge fan of gold jewelry! I love layering multiple gold pieces and these Stacking rings are perfect to pile on. AUrate makes some great pieces in 14k solid gold so you don’t have to worry about taking them off for everything. Their packaging is also really stunning and minimal with tiny little pink pouches to keep your jewelry clean and organized. 3. Smocked Bikini by Onia

   Lately I’ve really been into textured swimwear. I think the texture gives it a little something extra and I’m trying to change things up now that I’m in swimsuits so often! Living on an island has it’s perks! Linked the TOP and the BOTTOM of this bikini.

4. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

   I’ve had this book on my ‘read’ list for so long, I think it’s finally time I pick up a copy! I heard that it’s being made into a movie so I need to get started on it asap!

5. Belgium Dress by Reformation

   This dress is beautiful! I love the puff sleeve detail and the midi-length. It’s so lady-like! I’m usually not into wearing dresses but I’ve been stuck in such a rut with what to wear when it’s hot 90% of the time. So I guess I really need this dress….

6. Pulp by Byredo

   I don’t normally switch out scents during the seasons but now that I’m living in Hawaii, I’ve been drawn more towards light, citrusy scents. Pulp is my ultimate fragrance. It’s bright, it’s fruity, without being too sweet. It’s truly perfect. I’m finishing up a sample I got from the last time I visited Byredo and then I need to purchase a full bottle of this!

7. Waffle towels by Parachute

   I’m a huge fan of the brand Parachute. I got my first ‘adult’ sheets there. These perfect dark grey linen sheets that sadly no longer fit my kind bed. But I’m happy to share them with guests when they stay over and now I feel like I need something to replace them! While I’m saving up for the King set, I do want to try their Waffle towels. My best friend has them in this beautiful grey color and I look forward to using them every time I visit her. So, I guess it’s time I purchase my own set. They are soft, they are comfortable, and I guess I’m really having a thing for texture now!

8. Le Vernis Longera Nail Colour in Open Air by Chanel Beauty

   Chanel carries some of the best nail colors and their formula is sooooo good. Although they are on the pricier side I only purchase colors I find to be really exciting and different! I bought this beautiful coral color at the beginning of Spring and now I think I need this pastel purple next.

9. Tanya Patent Leather Nude Heels by BY FAR

   Owning a great nude heel is very important! I think now that I’ve been working from home, I don’t dress up as much but it’s nice to still throw on a pretty heel for dinner now and then. These are so perfect because the heel height is ideal and the two straps give you stability while still looking minimal and elegant.

10. The Row x Oliver’s People “Board Meeting” Square Sunglasses

    All I want right now is a pair of The Row x Oliver People’s Sunglasses. They are simple, they are elegant and they are incredibly flattering. These are definitely on the higher end for sunglasses and for someone who tends to forget my sunglasses in restaurants too often, I have held off on buying them but they still are always on my mind!

I hope everyone is starting off their week well. It’ll be a short one with a four day weekend coming up so remember to give it your all in everything you do this week and then relax and do a little shopping :)

Valentine's Day Gift Guide

VALENTINE’S DAY is coming up fast! Can’t believe we survived January - probably the longest month of the year, at least that’s what it felt like. It’s fun to have a special day to look forward to with your loved one! Whether it’s romantic or just a night with your girlfriends, Valentine’s Day can really be a fun evening.
