SIERRA CHAIR
Beauty: Face Wash Edition.
Currently in my skincare rotation are these four amazing face washes. All targeting different areas of skin 'issues' I have. I trade between them depending on how my skin is that day and at night.
1. GLOSSIER Milk Jelly: Starting with this lovely wash because I use it almost daily. I use it in the morning for a quick face wash in the shower to start my day. At night, I'll put it on my dry skin to remove my makeup. Because I have sensitive skin, I can't rub the gel too intensely on my eyes - otherwise they start hurting so I have to be gentle. Because of this, I normally have to also use an Eye Makeup Remover (Love Bioderma for sensitive eyes) and I use Ponds makeup remover towelettes (my fave) to get the stubborn mascara off my eyelashes and anything leftover on my face.
2. BOSCIA Purifying Cleaning Gel: Also a gel, like Milk Jelly but less thick. I use this one daily to wash my face any time I need to. Usually along with a face brush. It's great for after the gym or at night after a long day. Doesn't leave my skin dry but you definitely feel cleaner after using.
3. AESOP Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste: I love this Aesop Exfoliant. Whenever I feel like I need an extra scrub to remove dead, dry skin... this paste is the best. Like with most exfoliants, I don't use it every day because it would be too harsh on my skin but it's great to use before doing a mask so that you have a really clean surface to start with.
4. CLARINS One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser: Finally, the real MVP. My Clarins One-Step. This is an exfoliant I use probably every other day, both in the summer and winter before bed. It's gentle to use often and is a good cleanse before adding your serums and lotions. Plus, it smells amazing.
