The Line - The Apartment - Los Angeles

My absolute favorite boutique/online store has gone bi-coastal. If you haven't heard yet, The Line has opened it's doors to an incredibly well dressed shoppable 'home' in sunny Los Angeles. The perfect amount of marble, linens, and art work - this boutique is absolutely stunning. Perfectly decorated for the West Coast vibes. Really like how the aesthetic differs from NYC's Apartment yet it's still very cohesive in design.

I haven't spent much time in California but now I'm itching to go just to visit The Apartment and to The Row's flagship store (obviously). As always, you can shop The Line's products online any time and they are incredibly quick to ship and have impeccable customer service.  (trust me, my whole paycheck goes here....*nervous laughter*)

If you do live in LA - make sure to make an appointment and don't forget to tell me how much you love it! Click here for address.

Must Have: Textured Cardigan

So shaggy - so A P R I C OT heaven. I'm obsessed with this cardigan by CFDA finalist, Ryan Roche. Known for her incredible knits in the dreamiest of fabrics and pastel colors - this cardigan is perfection.

I think I ramble at this point about how much I love adding texture to your wardrobe. This cardigan is the perfect example. It's playfully shaggy and can be dressed up or down. I think it's so fun to layer underneath a shaggy cardigan rather than just automatically reaching for a coat every time you go out this Fall.

Balenciaga from the back...

As we say 'au revoir' to our beloved Alexander Wang as head designer at Balenciaga, we knew to only expect him to go out with a bang. Creating and showing a very beautiful Spring Collection with plenty of perfect white details and some stunning looks from front to back. I mean, Wang clearly knows how to turn heads....

Black & White Textures

Currently loving monochromatic head-to-toe looks...

Jensen Lace Jumpsuit Black | Aviana Crop Top + Albina Skirt | Garner Romper White

I've talked to a lot of friends about wearing all black or white outfit and they find it can be kind of, difficult. I mean, you're treading a line between looking like a painter, waiter, or even worse...just plain boring.

I love a good monochromatic look and it's sort of a staple in my wardrobe. The key is playing with different silhouettes and mixing textures/materials. Wearing a flowy silk top with black skinnies, a fitted tee with wide-leg trousers, or even better an all lace romper or jumpsuit. The textures and materials really are what make the outfit exciting and if you'd rather not do too much experimenting, definitely opt for an outfit that does the 'deciding' for you like a jumpsuit or romper. All you need is some sky-high skinny heels with a jumpsuit or ankle booties with a cute, short, romper and you're good to go. I promise, no one will think these outfits are by any means boring.
